Thirsty for creativity.
Thirsty for dark compositions.
Thirsty for just a little more dream on Thessaloniki’s rock stage.
And this not where it ends.
They want more passion when the lights go down. They want more power when the mics are on. They were not made to be main stream. They didn’t settle for just one record, that’s why they keep on working on new creations. They ‘re not here by chance.

Even if labels annoy them, they are five post punkers. They write together, they play with friends and for friends, bringing their music to everybody. Since 2010, when they joined ranks without denying either their personal influences or their musical background, their common target has been to make great music in a unique, different and unexpected way. Their chemistry is found in the darkest paths of music, with strong post-punk elements and tunes that evoke great feelings. They lose themselves with no regrets on stage among musical notes and lyrics.
Their elevated aesthetics can be traced in every aspect of their work, be it musical creation or production.
Their first album entitled “Behind the eyes of the shadow” came out in 2012 and made a great impression. It was the first expression of their common philosophy in music. The album was produced by the band itself along with Nikodimos Triaridis, while the sound recording was done in Sonic Ark studio.
Seven years after the release of their debut, the second album of Electro Vampires was released by Mantra Records in early 2019.It is titled “Ignorance and Violence” and is characterised by the band as “a musical guide to simultaneous survival and self-destruction”. It contains eleven tracks, all of which make us recall the quality, style and musical identity of E.V. It was recorded at Magnanimus Recording Studio and, soonly after its digital release, was also released on vinyl.
On spring 2019 the band embarked on a lengthy Greek tour for the promotion of the album.
Electro Vampires have performed great lives, some of them together with major artists of the rock scene like Peter Hook from Joy Division, Puressence, Ozric Tendacles, Wovenhand, New Model Army, Singapore Sling and Pierced Arrow. They often record their rehearsals, since they consider themselves an experimental band who improvise and invest in their great moments.
The Vamps are coming (to a venue near you)! Are you ready?
